summertime

Hey All,

Well it is definitely evident by everyone's blog that summer is in full-swing, because everyone is out and about and not blogging! Especially not myself tee hee. Its not that I have been crazzy busy but sitting inside especially typing has just not been that appealing to me. But anyways here I am finally blogging !

So whats new -- hmmm more recently we celebrated my teddy bear's (aka RJ's) birthday! He is now officially 24 years old. And it suits him well !! hehehe. I feel sorta bad because we didn't have a huge party or a weekend full of events like we use to in the past, but we still had a great night of fun. We went to JJQ's for some drinks with a whole bunch of friends -- work ppls included which was a weird dynamic because the Price Chopper kids are kinda young and they still act crazzy when they are out, which I am proud to say my close friends no longer do. BUT it was still great times.............I had to leave early though (around 1am) cuz I had to work the 8am-4pm shift the next day, damn long weekend hehe! But it was still good times :) Apparently the boys went to C&W's at like 2:30am and ate lots of unhealthy (burgers and poutine) food that late at night, but at least RJ didn't throw up or anything thats all that matters really!
Saturday night we headed to his mom's house for dinner -- we had great hamburgers and hotdogs -- very delicious, always in the mood for BBQ ! No matter what we always leave Beth's house with a thousand things -- which is good and bad, because RJ doesn't always have the room for all of this, but oh well free stuff still rocks!
Sunday night we were off to RJ's dads house for dinner -- which was cool - they made really weird salad, see I kinda just like regular lettuce, granted my own preference but it was still good, they had pecans in it, which was surprise to moi -- but it made the salad liveable. We also had that fancy steak stuff that comes in a little circle, which was really delicious - even though I am not a steak person. HOwever the cake and the ice cream did save the day wohooo they were fantastic, although it was like I was done dinner, and then there was cake on my plate. Let's just say Linda (step mom) is a little bit of a rush freak --but thats alright, some ppl are just that way!
All and all it was a great weekend.....full of birthday meals!

Work has been crazzy the last past weeks -- first of all my manager put a very stern warning about not missing your Saturday and Sunday shifts because ohhh roughly 5 girls booked the weekend off. SO, one girl I knew was definitely not coming in -- and guess what she didn't....so anyways needless to say she was fired, so there were lots of hours to be covered. Another one of our cash office girls is about 7 months pregnant and she has been ordered to stay at home and bed rest since this has been a difficult pregnancy for her. So now I am being trained for the cash officer, which is going alright, lots of information to remember. I hope I understand it all soon though, cuz I hate being wrong and messing things up! SO fingers crossed for me please!! :)

Anyways I am off .............. I gotta get some sleep cuz RJ and I are going shopping in the morning for some new pants!!
