oops I did it again!

So ya I decided again oh about two nights ago to change the background of my blog - now I have to get RJ to add of the extras back on because I only have a vague idea of how to do this, althought I might try, he will probably still have to fix it !!

We went to help RJ's mom move her nail salon Snails again, well the first store move for me, but like the tenth time I have help her move something, mainly houses the last few times. It was alright, by the time I got there most of the heavy lifting was done whoohoo !! I was kinda useless for the first few hours, they were wripping out walls and replacing the floors in one of the rooms, I sorta help RJ and his step-dad do that, I was pretty much handing them materials - but oh well once we got to painting I did my part to contribute. It is a lovely store, or well it will be once ,its all put back together - it has a nice store front and large rooms for treatments, as well as its own washroom not one shared with the entire building - althought the building is shared by a hairdressing place, but hopefully that will help to ensure more business for both. The address is 300 Randall St in Oakville, just off of Trafalger - if you are all interested.

Last night RJ and I headed over to Tim's for a little get-together to celebrate his birthday which was last Tuesday. It was actually a lot of fun, weird seeing ppl from High School, but it was good times. RJ and I are now considering moving there when we finally move in together. It seems like a much nicer building, more space, better facilities and hey a lot close to Price Chopper for RJ (well he thinks so, I don't think there is much of walking distance either way). Anyways, should run and get ready for work, so far I have heard it has not been that busy which kinda makes me happy - actually as long as it all balances at the end, that is all the matters to moi hehehe
toodles

January 2005

Hey everyone,

See I promised I would eventually get around to January, granted it is almost the end of February, but I find it is always easier to talk about the past, then in the moment.

So far this year has been pretty spiffy, I am still looking for a job - so anyone needing a parole/probation officer please give me a call (tee hee). Other then that constant worry everything else has been good. Working too many hours at the price chopper and not getting paid properly, but eh, learned to live with it for now, and I really really like it there, most of the people are awesome and then this means I get to see my RJ all the time, so I figure once I get a full time job and I have to be away from him all of the time, I will be okay, cuz we have worked together almost 40 something hours a week for almost two months now... luv the logic huh!

What else has been new - this is definitely the year of marriages -- Danielle I knew from HS friends and we spoke occaisionally during University just got married, my close friends Lins and Gregg are now engaged and RJ's step-sister is getting married in June I believe, even my bosses daughter is getting married this summer. Its sooo exciting and I know RJ often takes my excitement for misguided encouragement to propose. But this is not the case, whenever it happens it was meant to happen - althought is mom doesn't help, everytime I think we have seen her in the last few months, she takes him aside and askes him when he is going to propose heheh, its sooo funny - he's like when you give me the money to pay for the wedding thats when hahahha! But its all in good fun!
We just recieved the invitation to RJ's step-sister Jennifer's wedding - its at the Royal Botanical Gardens sooo it should be beautiful - only downer of course the dresss situation, I am just not a dress kinda gal, and secondly I hate that dressing up feeling, nothing fits right because I haven't worn this clothing in like a year at the last get dressed up function and no matter what it is dressy clothing makes me sooo self conscious. I dunno been thinking about joining curves, but haven't completely commited to anything yet!

My dad's 60th b-day is next weekend....so much planning still to occur - I mean we are just going out to dinner with everyone, but still my mom and I have to decided on a gift (he wants a portable dvd player, which of course is a huge mistake, because well hello my dad barely knows how to work the VCR, but thats what he wants). Oh well keep ya posted!!

Gotta sleep -- working at 9am and its 2am yick!!
