tooo much to talk about!

Well where to begin, been awhile as usual -- But first.........RJ AND I ARE ENGAGED -- ahhhh-- its true just before Valentines day. the story: well I headed over to his house on the 11th, being a saturday after church so that I could start dinner before RJ got home. So I walked into the door and I was a little shocked because the answering machine was playing and of course our adorable little kitty Banky was up on the counter playing with the buttons. And then all of a sudden I hear "Hi Mr. Brazeau its the raffi jewler's calling and your purchase is ready for pick-up". So needless to say, I thought well I am getting something nice for Valentine's day woohoo heheh. RJ called a little while later, I told him that I heard the message, and that I was sorry for ruining any surprises. He was sooooooooooo serious, asking me what all I heard, and what they said on the answering machine. I explained that I only heard where the gift was from.....so he was kinda calmed by that at least, but I couldn't understand why? So the next day..............he pulls out the box with the ring in it.........and adorably studdered through "will you marry me" right in front of the store hhehee......it was a great moment. ahhhhhhhh. Shouted YES !!!

That day we were headed to Burlington..(we had RJ's moms car this weekend).....we went to Ikea, went to the Burlington mall, particularly the general store. And then we headed to Lins and Greggs brand new house. THey had invited us over for dinner..............so we knew we had to tell them. So after dinner, RJ made they annoucement. Their reactions were sooo amazing, just sheer happiness for us it was great. They toasted us !! IT was just a great day.

BUT - we couldn't tell my parents that day, because RJ had to leave to pick up his mom from the airport, so we came home from work the next day and told them. My mom reacted the way I sorted expected not really saying much and kinda seemed a little mad (but I don't think she was) and then I went to tell my dad, who had already headed to bed and he was sooooooooo excited, which shocked me. We both had a little tear. Then he came downstairs and shook RJ's hand and then we all just talked for a few hours. It was good......I knew going in that my parents were going to be a little stunned...........I'm their baby and they have always had trouble letting do adult things, going to university was like pulling teeth for them -- they are just those kind of people.

So needless to say, it was been a great few weeks ---------- until of course we found out that our store our price chopper is closing down --- for 3 months to become a sobey's express -- and we are all being shipped to other stores for the time being........but I will explain all of this at a later date!!!!

NEXT BLOG --- LINDSAY AND GREGG'S WEDDING........soooo beautiful!!! I will explain it all next time...........need to sleep :)
