funny thing

I recieved an emal last Thursday saying that my u of guelph email account had expired -- which took me by surprise because I use the darn thing all the time. But as I read on ... the email explained that a year after graduation your email address gets cancelled. I gotta tell ya, I think that sucks....I had to sign up for another more professional sounding email address and change my resume immediately because I was sending one out on Friday....phew just came in time. Kinda makes me sad though, reminds me of school and how I miss school....and how I wish law school or even graduation school could have been more affordable oh well......the email just caught me of guard!!

Random ...........

Gobble Gobble, so Thanksgiving has been a great weekend this year. I had to work as usual Saturday night, but then I had both Sunday and Monday off, which was sooo nice. I had to go over on Sunday just to write my order and to help one of the cash office girls do a brinks deposit because she gets really nervous doing it. And RJ was locking up the store sunday night, so he was rushing ppl out of there by 5:45, since the store closes at 6pm..... needless to say however there is still always that one person that is doing their big shop at 6pm, but we were out of there by 6:20pm so that was great, we got to my house and dinner was just being put on the table. Woohoo. Dinner was great. Then RJ and I headed over to his house to watch our usual Sunday night of animation domination (simpson, family guy and american dad)....so it was good times.

Today being Monday we were invited to RJ's mom's house for a second dinner whoohho, we had prime rib, which was different, since I am not a huge beef fan, but it was pretty tasty.....wedding talk has been pretty much dominating all of our lives these past few weeks and it continued to at dinner as well.

Last Wednesday Rj, his dad and myself went to the mall to arrange for the tux's that they have to wear at the wedding. If cost about $2oo dollar each, just to rent these tuxes, I think all of us were just stunned when we heard the total.....phew....but I guess that is there business and they need to make their money when they can. It was just a funny moment because RJ and I had been guessing around 1oo dollars because you always hear those commercials from Moores for like 69 dollars to rent suits. Boy oh Boy were we wrong hehehe. I also looked around for a dress while were at the mall, nothing really caught my eye, but I wasn't really in the mood, I hate -- yes I used the word hate shopping for myself, anyone else no probs, for me, it just stresses me out. If find something beautiful, then they do not have any of the sizes that I could even try to squeeze myself into.....or its a beautiful outfit on the rack, but then ya put it on, and it just does not look the same way at all. But I still have lots of time, so no real worries yet.

So, weddings being the dominating topic these days, since RJ is the best man at his brothers wedding, it has caused major conversations about our possible nuptials,,,, in the far far future I may add. Ya, we have pretty much come to the conclusion that because of the way that our families are, how the function or don't function, it would probably be easier for us and everyone involved for us to get married in Las Vegas. It's funny because we sorta threw it out there as just a "we should" and now it makes sooo much sense to both of us. We take our parents, and our best man and maid of honour and spend a few days together and create a really great day. So far RJ's mom and Nick are definitely for it, they would rather give us money for the house then just for the wedding, now of course my parents maybe another a problem all together, since I am my dad's only child I dunno if he will be okay with it and of course I think he sorta has his heart set on a big church wedding. But I do not know, we will have to see what makes sense in the future and where we are then.

Oooooh, I applied for the perfect job on friday -- it a parole officer position in Campbellford ON, it is perfect if I get it. Its a full time position, I had all of the requirements except for the security clearance, but I do not even know where to get that, I think from the police, which I have to inquire about *mental note* -- granted Campbellford is a little further then I wanted to go, (its in between Peterborough, and Ottawa, is where they describe the location) but if it did come to fruition I figure RJ and I could live there for a little while I could get some experience in and then hopefully move back and find something close to Oakville or Burlington, because that is probably where we will be living.

Anyways soorry for the random chatting........but its been a while!!
