.............

So, a few weeks ago, Rj and I helped Tim Parsons and his girlfriend Kirsti move into their new apartment down in Toronto. It turned out to be a really great day. Usually moving never goes as planned, but everything seemed to working out in our favour that day. Tim rented a huge truck and it turned out be a lot cheaper because he booked it online, sweet....starting the day off perfect......the only real trouble was that they lived in the apartment building beside the Go train so this meant we had to use the elevator, although they lived on the 2nd floor so moving the lighter things using the stairs turned out to be a huge time saver. Then we get to there new apartment just off of Queen street, but to get to the parking area, we had to drive through these crazzy small drive ways, with graffiti all over the garages, and there was a few close calls with the huge moving truck and since RJ and I were behind TIm and his dad in the truck, in Tim's car we witness to all the near misses. But we make it there. To then find out that the stairs into the apartment are really narrow, however they live in the basement apartment so, at least they are going downward. I was amazed that all of the furniture even went through that door -- even Tim's dad was like, hmmm we maybe buying some new furniture today.........but RJ and Tim did it, they go everything in. We finished moving everything in by about 5pm, not bad for beginning the move at 10 am that day in Mississauga. We sat and had a few beers, which is not common for RJ and I, we drink any form of liquor maybe once every 3 months, so to be drinking at like 5 was strange, but then we all went out for dinner and met kirsti at this great Mexican restaurant. The food and the music there was fantastic. So it was a great day in all.

Its funny because that night Rj and I were discussing what it would be like to move to TO, granted we could never afford the rent anywhere, but still everything would be soooo close and that would be perfect since we are car-less. But at the same time that would probably be our downfall. Since, RJ's car died, we have been real meals at home all the time, going for fast food is like a treat now........before it was at least 3 or maybe more times a week. so ya i think we are gonna stick to our Oakville or Burlington plan, unless of course job situations change that is.

Ya know I don't know how we are ever gonna be able to move all of my stuff once we get our own place. I mean RJ has moved a few times since he has left home, but me never, 25 years in this house. I use to move to Guelph for school.....but I only took maybe 60 percent of my stuff with me. It will probably take me weeks of packing to get all of my stuff together it will be a crazzy event that is forsure. I think we will move RJ in first, and then me gradually hehehe.

well thats enough random topics for today gotta get some sleep, my silly puppy (well two year old puppy) Raider woke me up at 7am, because of the garbage trucks at the plaza infront of my house........he was standing at my window in my bedroom barking......and I didn't need to get up until 8 errrrr.

toodles

bloggin bloggin......

Its been awhile again, but this time its completely not my fault. My computer/internet had a melt down. I woke up one morning and my internet would not connect, so of course I blamed it on my computer, cuz well its getting really old and slow. But finally after RJ checked everything humanly possible on the computer, I called Rogers.....oh ya we cut off your connection because your email was senting out tons of junk mail, etc.....well okay, thank you for the call - thats fantastic customer service.........but anways, this meant I had to clear my entire computer, well then I had to track down windows XP, because if I was gonna update it, might as well do it right.......we asked everyone RJ's dad, his brother and sooooo finally two weeks past and we happened to go see Serenity with Derek and Rich, and what do you know Derek has XP and he brought it over the next day......after waiting two weeks...........I needed my internet fix hehhehe. So long story..........shortened I am back!

Hmm what else is new? Not much, work still the same crappy, deli manager is still not back....so I am being the good employee and sticking around. But man oh man, I need a better job. It's weird because I attended the Deli/Bakery Manager Meeting a few weeks ago, at the airport, its for all the manager across Ontario, so there was about 90 of us there, as well as head office and all of our specialists - and absolutely loved it. It was soooo much fun learning whats coming in the future, how things are going across ONtario -- Southdown got an applause for getting 100 percent on our secret customer shop and our health and safety audit. so that was really cool. It was a really long day though. Just the drive to airport Rd was almost over an hour....cuz of the traffic at that time in the morning. Overall though good times.

Diana's (rj's brothers' fiance') wedding shower is this Sunday. I am excited and not all at the same time. I just do not know anyone, other than RJ's mom and his step-mom, so I dunno I think its gonna be a weird day. Hopefully, the worry is for nothing.

Next week is shaping up to be a busy one. I have the wedding shower sunday, then RJ has the bachelor party on the Friday ......plus I need to get to the mall and find something to wear to the wedding on Dec 10th ahhhhh, it is fast approaching thats for sure. Also our 4 year anniversary is next week as well.....actually the same day as the bachelor party..........oh well Rj doesn't really know how to plan ahead, the date did not even occur to him when he made the plans a month ago for the party so what can ya do!!

The crazziest things were happening yesterday............well first at work trying to get some the chicken that the meat dept has on sale down from a really high skid (bad Rj hehe) I hurt my right arm and instantly my wrist started to swell -- okay, so I thought I just jammed it really bad......within an hour, I had to take my watch off because it was cutting of the circulation off to my hand and of course it had to be the hand that I use on the slicer so it was throbing allll day. Anyways I got home and my mom found a bandage for it and that helped a lot. But, also througout the day my left knee had been locking up, and I knew I was walking weirdly on it, but I didnt do anything to it. And then by 6pm, after being at home for an hour, my knee had doubled in size and I could barely walk. What I night...... I was falling apart. But today I am fine, my arm is a little sore, but the swelling has gone down a lot, its still not great. Yet there is nothing wrong with my knee. So strange...........

Anyways............more to come...........but I gotta get some sleep!
